Emory Valley Center (EVC) is partnering with Applebee’s in Oak Ridge for an all-you-can-eat “Pancake Breakfast” fundraiser on Saturday, October 21, 8 – 10 am. Applebee’s will be providing the breakfast food items and staff members to cook the pancakes and sausage.
- Tickets are only $5.00 (children under three eat FREE) and may be purchased at Emory Valley Center, 715 Emory Valley Road, Oak Ridge, 8 – 5 pm, Monday – Friday and at the door Saturday morning (first come, first serve!).
This year’s fundraiser will highlight a “Community/Celebrity Server Tip Contest” with competitive servers - State Senator Ken Yager, Don Dare - WATE-TV6, Oak Ridge City Commissioner Jim Dodson, Oak Ridge City Commissioner Kelly Callison, Oak Ridge City Commissioner Hans Vogel, Anderson County Mayor Terry Frank and Community Advocate Dottie Thompson - helping Emory Valley Center’s staff , board members and supporters from the community as volunteers for the breakfast.
Emory Valley Center has been meeting the needs of people with intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities in the East Tennessee community for more than 62 years and currently provides a wide variety of services including: Community Integration, Education, Employment, Family Assistance, Pre-Vocational Training, Residential and Senior Services. This support reaches more than 1,400 adults and children on a monthly basis located in 16 East Tennessee counties.
