Joe Bonomo, an East Tennessee artist whose work is regularly featured in The Courier News' 'People and Places' column, will be an exhibitor at the Anderson County Animal Rescue Foundation pet expo. His work is in high demand, with multiple galleries across the nation displaying his art. He was most recently the featured artist at the annual Villa Collina derby party, and is known in Kentucky as the "canvas jockey" for his artwork depicting race horses and their jockeys.
Bonomo has created a painting specifically for the pet expo, which will be available for sale. Prints of the painting will also be available, and a percentage of the profits will go back to the Anderson County Animal Rescue Foundation.
