Description
The Cup of Hope Luncheon is a domestic violence awareness event that coincides with Domestic Violence awareness month and benefit The Salvation Army’s Joy D. Baker Center. The event is set for Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at The Jackson Terminal downtown from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Joy D. Baker Center serves women with or without children impacted by domestic violence and as a shelter for homeless women with children. In addition to providing housing and meals, the 24-hour staff serves as counselors and liaisons with both the court and school systems and can assist with job placement or referrals to other agencies.

She is the author of three best selling books, with the most recent being Unsinkable Faith: God-Filled Strategies for Transforming the Way You Think, Feel and Live.
Kim Hansard, STAR 102.1 personality, will emcee the luncheon.
The Cup of Hope luncheon is expected to attract over 200 people. Media coverage is expected from TV, radio and print.
