Job description: Accounts Payable Specialist 
The Hollingsworth Companies, a long-term established company with multiple businesses in Clinton TN, has a permanent, full-time opening for an energetic team player to join our accounting department. Qualified candidates will have at least two (2) years of accounts payable and general ledger experience. An Associates Degree of Accounting is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities include coding and entering invoices, preparing check runs, reconciling vendor statements and researching discrepancies, and assisting with month end close and 1099 reporting. The candidate will also assist with special projects, including the conversion of accounts payable from Microsoft Solomon to a new ERP system, and reevaluating our A/P processes. The candidate will also serve as back-up to reception/phones. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, organization skills, attention to details, and ability to learn ERP systems quickly.

This is an excellent long-term opportunity as our current Accounts Payable Specialist, with 19 years experience with the company, will be retiring in March.
