Job Description

DATE: June 2019 

REPORTS TO: Outreach Director 

STATUS: Full Time (30hrs/week) ; Year-around position ; Hourly (DOE) ; Non-exempt, M-F. 

Purpose of the Position : To provide supervision, administration and program knowledge to girls enrolled in Girls Inc after school program at our Briceville center facility in Anderson County, to include: program development, implementation and daily programming operations with assistance from program materials within different schools systems throughout the week. 

Principal Responsibilities: 

-Plans and conducts special interest groups/classes. 

- Assists with program planning with other staff members 

-Adapts Girls Incorporated program materials to match the resources and meet the needs of the organization. 

-Conducts programs with the assistance curriculums and volunteers 

-Observes girls activities, interactions and the programs within out reach programs. 

-Works with other agency staff in the coordination and implementation of programs with others offered by the organization. 

-Keeps classrooms clean, well-organized and stocked with supplies, as needed. . 


At least 18 years of age Drivers License required High school diploma required, one or more years of college preferred Experience working with and understanding of children ages 5-15 years old. Flexible, creative and enthusiastic. Ability to be a positive and strong role model for girls. Job Type: Part-time
