Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
 
Provides member service support and administrative support to 7 Insurance while maintaining effective working relationships with current and prospective members, credit union personnel and insurance carriers.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  1. Handles inbound service calls from current or prospective customers and administer endorsements/changes by sending calls to carriers and/or performing endorsements on carrier websites. Resolve billing issues and/or policy discrepancies with carriers on new and existing business. Follow up with current members at least annually and submit additional underwriting information requested by insurance carriers. Cross Sell products as needed by insured.
  2. Handles the centralized scheduling of appointments and accommodates all walk in interviews. Capture information from prospective customers via telephone or inbound quote requests.
  3. Assists in updating and maintaining of operations and policy manuals.
  4. Cross sells other agency and credit union products and services.
  5. Maintain accurate, complete, and thorough files on every member by noting all contact through documentation via the agency management system. Enters all new and existing policy documents into the agency management system.
  6. Other duties as assigned.
 
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE
  • Two years’ experience in an insurance agency or carrier.
  • Commercial Insurance Experience Required.
  • A high school education or GED.
  • Current Property & Casualty license in the state of Tennessee.
