Y-12 Federal Credit Union Launches Partnership with Zogo Finance
OAK RIDGE, TN – Y-12 Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce a partnership with Zogo Finance, a pioneer in financial education through gamification. This alignment stems from the organization’s continued focus on financial literacy, especially within the teen and young adult categories. “The lack of financial knowledge among youth is alarming,” said John Nolan, Fusion Financial Outreach Manager at Y-12 Federal Credit Union. “To be able to successfully connect with Gen. Z., it’s imperative that we start practical dialogue in their spaces. Utilizing Zogo Finance’s gamification application allows teens and young adults to learn while having fun, not to mention getting rewarded,” Nolan continued.
With over 500,000 users, Zogo provides a fun, gamified learning environment in short, bite-sized personal finance lessons. As users advance through lessons, they are rewarded through pineapples which they can redeem for real-life rewards like Amazon and Starbucks gift cards just to name a few. “Our partnership with Zogo is just another example of showing our commitment to our members and the communities we serve. Being good stewards of our brand means that we care about the whole person by not only providing them with the highest service standards, but also educational tools that help them build strong financial futures,” explained Amber Price, Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Y-12 Federal Credit Union.
